After many failed attempts, the resulting creatures were abandoned in Andor and further evolved into the BoroNang we see today.
Capturing a BoroNang requires you to be completely invisible and have a thick article of clothing--I suggest a Leather Bliaut--to swiftly cover their mouth. If the BoroNang is allowed to bite you, you will die instantly from the powerful poison it injects. While invisible, throw the clothing over it to prevent it from biting and wrap it tightly to form a muzzle. Once debilitated, you can guide it into a cage or handle it by leash to your destination.
